Industry Experience
Professor Fakinlede, is a senior instructor in the Interior Design Program and practicing architect-designer. Known to his students as Solomon, he is held in high regard by those taking Interior Design. Solomon Fakinlede is a knowledgeable and compassionate instructor with students, and is revered by students for his deep and meaningful interactions with students and instructional excellence. He has been teaching online and is a long-standing instructor in the Interior Design program. Solomon lives in Pikesville, Maryland. He has a deep passion for construction details and interior design, and these have been the underlying fundamentals of his residential and commercial project designs. Also, in addition to industry experience, he has more than ten years of teaching experience in architecture and interior design in several colleges including Westwood College, Arlington, Virginia. Solomon is working toward the completion of his Ph.D. at Walden University, Minneapolis.

"My teaching philosophy encompasses the use of interactive teaching approach to enhance analytical thinking of my students and enrich their learning by consistently focusing of the subject goals. This philosophy is complemented by setting measurable learning outcomes, which have always resulted in students' overall quality of achievements, thereby increasing their educational worth to themselves and to the society as a whole."
