Industry Experience
Lataunia's professional experience includes working in both the public and private accounting sectors. She has worked in the auditing field for approximately 20 years. Her vast experience is in the governmental and banking industries.
Lataunia has experience in teaching at both online and on ground courses in the accounting, finance, and management areas. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting at North Central University. In addition, Lataunia is preparing to complete an exam to become a Certified Internal Auditor.
Lataunia’s motto is to never give up and never give in. She is a strong advocate for motivating students to become life learners and to run their race with vigor. Lataunia loves the quote by Michael Hanson who stated "to will is to select a goal, determine a course of action that will bring one to that goal, and then hold to that action until the goal is reached. The key is action."
