Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:

  • Describe the management practices used for planning, organizing, and controlling operations in an organization
  • Explain the purposes of and sources for industry-standard construction documents
  • Discuss how building codes and the building inspection process ensure that proper methods and material are used in construction projects
  • Create construction drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, applying correct construction graphics techniques
