Computer-Aided Design/Architectural Drafting Degree

cad_trainingBehind every home, skyscraper and bridge are architects and architectural drafters. As a Westwood College computer-aided design/architectural drafting student, you will use computer software to create the plans and drawings used to construct buildings. You will also develop a professional portfolio that will help you stand out when interviewing with employers.

Program features include:

  • courses that help prepare you for industry-standard Autodesk certificates* such as AutoCAD®, AutoCAD® Architecture and 3D Viz®
  • training in REVIT® Architecture, a premiere Building Information Modeling (BIM) software that enables users to put buildings together in a virtual world
  • the creation of a professional portfolio to demonstrate skills to potential employers

*Westwood prepares graduates for certification. Graduates wishing to attain certification must take and pass any applicable test/exams.
