paralegal_degreeLaw isn't only practiced by lawyers. In the real world, much of what goes into the legal process is conducted by paralegals. In modern law offices, paralegals are assuming a growing range of legal duties and perform many of the same tasks as lawyers. A Westwood paralegal degree will prepare you for a fast-paced career in the field of law. Through detailed coursework and preparation, you'll acquire the skills necessary to start your career as a paralegal.*

Program features include:

  • curriculum designed with input from working professionals in the legal industry
  • relevant law classes, such as real estate law, bankruptcy law, immigration law and tort law
  • training in industry-standard online research tools, such as Westlaw
  • an emphasis in learning legal terminology, drafting legal documents and conducting legal research

*Westwood prepares graduates for certification. Graduates wishing to attain certification must take and pass any applicable tests/exams.
